Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper starts but doesnt stay running, gas filter, carburator

have a snapper model#190707 riding mower,can start, but will not stay running. do not know what to look for, can you help?

 Hello Robynn:

 Most Times the Problem you are having is Caused by the Carburator needing to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. Check the Gas Tank Cap and Ensure it is Venting the Tank Properly. Check the Gas Filter(if it has one). If by Some Chance the Carburator is Not the Problem; Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please.
