Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray edger, free edger, carburator

I have a 3.5 hp throttle free edger with the bulb primer... It'll start when u prime it but die when that fuel is gone.  Is there a clogged fuel filter somewhere that I cant find or something else that might cause it?  I have used it approx. 6 or 7 times since new.  thanks for any help

 Hello Dennis:

 The Carburator needs to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these Numbers I May be Able to Locate a Breakdown Online that Will Assist you in this Repair. Gas Forms a Varnish that Restricts the Gas Flow to the Main Jet of the Carburator. The Carburator should be Soaked Overnight (not the plastic carburator) in Cleaning Solution to Properly Clean the Varnish. Then Blow Out All the Passages with Compressed Air. Hope this Helps.
