Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn Boy Model 10227, air leak, john thanks

Question
Back to you John.  Thanks for the speedie reply yesterday.  Still no better after soaking over night the carbie and blowing it out.  Still surges at slow speeds. When first started it runs nice for about a half minute and then starts to surge at slow speed.  Runs great at high speeds.  Could there be an air leak somewheres?  I hate to tear it a part to check the seals on the ends  of the crankshaft. The carbie is plastic and looks good.  Have another suggestion?  Thanks

Answer
 Hello Wayne:

Check the Exhaust Port and Muffler for Carbon Blockage. What is the Engine Compression? Other than that You May need a New Carburator. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
