Towing Issues: Flat Tow - 1995 Isuzu, isuzu rodeo, 1995 isuzu rodeo

I want to flat tow a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo, 2wd, 4cy, 5-speed manual transmision, rwd. Do I need to disconnect the driveshaft?

while flat towing of vehicles behind RV's is not my area of expertise, I know that commercial towing which I do we get the drive wheels of the vehicle off the ground or pull the driveline.

What the AAA manual and other sites say is that if I was towing it from the front there are no ratings allowed for providing safe damage free towing to the transmission.

Now if you are going to be doing lots of towing of the Isuzu behind an RV, pulling the driveline is dirty, and time consuming to do... I would suggest a tow dolly to load it up on with the rear wheels on the dolly to prevent damage.

But that is my thoughts on this question and again I say it is also not my area of expertise.
