Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): MTD Mower Flooding, millenium edition, gurgles

Question
I have an MTD Riding Mower (Millenium Edition) that keeps flooding. Everytime I start the engine, it will run for a few seconds then flood the carb, gurgles, then shuts off. I've taken the carb apart and cleaned it while looking for any defects, but found none. Everything appears fine to the naked eye, but for some reason it keeps flooding the carb. Can you help?

Answer
 Hello Daniel:

1- Check the Gas Tank Cap and Ensure it is Venting the Tank Properly. 2- Check the Carburator Float Needle. 3- Check the Float for Burrs that May be Preventing the Float from Operating Properly. Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these Numbers I can View a Breakdown of the Engine and Carburator and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
