Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda gx620 stalls, cushman scooter, gas tank

Question
I put a like new Honda GX620 on a Cushman Scooter.  Removed the plunger and connector from the fuel shutoff solenoic.  Removed the governor and throttled directly to the carb.
It ran great (WOW) for about 20 starts and about 20 miles.  Suddenly, would only run at idle and would sputter and die if you tried to open the throttle.  This is sporadic.  Sometimes it runs great, then suddenly it won't. Let it idle a few minutes and it might or might not run well again.  Gas lines are clear, air filter is clean. Fuel pump is pumping.  I was sure it was a fuel problem, but I can't isolate it. I plan to replace plugs next altho they are nearly new.

Answer
 Hello Gary:

Check the Gas Tank Cap and Ensure it is Venting the Tank Properly. Check the Carburator Float Needle. It May be Sticking. Clean and Rebuild the Carburator. Check the Tank for Trash/Water. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
