Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): stalling, exhaust port, carburator

Question
Engine starts easy and runs as long as i block off some of the air flow into the intake ,but will not stay running if you have full air. Any suggestions?

 Hello Dane:

 Check the Exhaust for Blockage. Check the Muffler for Blockage. If the Exhaust Port and Muffler are Good, then the Carburator needs to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
