Question -
i have read several posts about the ryobi weed eater, and have come to the conclusion that mine needs the carb cleaned. i can't find info on how to do this or where the carb located and how to get it out. i don't have the model info on me, but i think it is a 31cc that will not stay running especially when the trigger is pulled. if you can help with the little info i have, it would be greatly appreciated.

thx

 Hello Derek:

With the Model Numbers I May be Able to Locate a Diagram that will Assist you when Doing this Repair. Trying to Tell you How to Disassemble the Trimmer would be Useless Because of the Many Different Models and Different Ways they are Disassembled. Thanks.

Answer
 Hello Derek:

The Model Number for the Engine should be Something like 725r 41AD725A734 for an Example. Go to this Addy http://www.buymtdonline.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/topcategory_10101_15601_-1 and Click on the Launch Illustrated Search Engine. Select the Ryobi Outdoor and then Enter the Model Numbers. When the List comes up Choose the Engine File and you can see the Breakdown of the Engine Components. Enlarge the View until you can Identify the Section for the Carburator. Once the Carburator is Off, Send me the Manufacturer of the Carburator and the Carburator Numbers and I can then Locate a Diagram for the Carburator. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
