Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower idles real low, snapper lawn mower, carburator

Question
I found a snapper lawn mower, when I started using it it would rev up pretty high. While it was being used it run out of gas. I cleaned it up with some carb cleaner. then it cranked up but the idle is a lot lower now and hasn't changed yet. Could it be like the last with the water, and needs to be rebuilt. Or is it different problem from before. Its a (mod#21405P) from the base, the one on the number is (mod#11702 3047 01) (code# 8721908)

Answer
 Hello Enoch:

It Sounds like the Carburator Picked up some Trash/Water when it Ran the Tank Dry. I would Clean and Rebuild the Carburator. Soak the Carburator Overnight to Ensure you Get All the Varnish Dissolved from the Ports and Passages. Blow All Ports and Passages Out with Compressed Air. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
