Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Echo Leaf Blower, echo leaf blower, carburator

Question
John

I have an echo leaf blower.  It has decided to quit running.  The tubing from the carb to the gas tank was rotten and I replaced it with clear tubing.  The reason it is not running is that it will not, for some reason, lift the gasoline out of the tank to the carb?  I put a new kit in the carb today and still have same problem.  The fuel lifts about 1/2 inch above tank and thats it?

Answer
 Hello Tom:

Did you Replace the Fuel Filter in the Tank? Did you Replace the Diaphram and Gaskets Properly? Did the Needle and Needle Arm Move Freely? Did you Soak the Carburator Overnight in Cleaning Solution? If No, then Soak the Carburator Overnight and Blow All the Ports and Passages Out with Compressed Air. The Gas Forms a Varnish Inside the Ports and Passages and Soaking the Carburator is the Only way to Remove this Varnish. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
