Answer
 Hello Francisco:

Depending on the Make and Model, the Following May Help Determine your Problem. Check the Battery for Charge and a Dead/Weak Cell. If the Battery is Good, then take a Jumper Cable Set and Attach the Red End to the Positive Post of the Battery. Take the Other End and FIRMLY Touch the Battery Post on the Starter. Does the Starter Turn? If Yes, then the Soleniod is Bad. If No, then the Starter is Bad. If this Doesnt Help, Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower and the Engine, Please. With these I can Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
