Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere by Gilson, john deere green, jd dealer

Question
I bought a tiller from a friend.  Very much John Deere green.  However I can not find any info on it.  I have been told that Gilson built tillers for damn near everybody.  I found stuff from lawn boy 51197.  Looks like mine.  Do you know does John Deere have any manuals available.  I went to my local JD Dealer, stumped those fellas.  Thanks for your time in this matter.

 Hello Greg:

 Without Model Numbers it is Impossible to Get a Manual or Illustrated Parts List. Have you Checked the Blower Housing for the Engine Model Numbers? The Numbers are Usually Stamped into the Blower Housing(metal engine cover). The Engine Numbers May Help me Locate the Manufacturer of the Tiller. Thanks.
