Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tecumseh 15.5 hp, hp motor, carburator

I recently got a used lawn tractor. All my friend said is you get it running I can have it. It has a Tecumseh Enduro XL/C 15.5 hp motor on it. The problem is I can get it to start and run for about a minute and it stalls. It will restart but dies again. Is there any advicethat you can give me? Thank you in advance for your help.

 Hello Robert:

 It Sounds like the Carburator needs to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. This is the Most Common Cause for the Problem you Described. When you need Information, Parts or a Diagram, always have the Mower Model Numbers for the Mower if the Information, Parts or Diagram is for the Mower and the Engine Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers for Engine Information, Parts or a Diagram.
