Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): homelite chain oiling system, muffler, chainsaw

I have a 45cc timberman homelite chainsaw that stopped oiling the chain.  I removed covers, muffler, etc but can't see how the oiling system works and what I need to do to get it working again.  Is there a way to get oil to come out without disassembling the whole machine?  Also what size file do I need to sharpen the chain. It has a 33 on the side of the links.

The in-tank hose may be clogged.  Try fishing it out with a wire, to check.  Otherwise you will need to split the saw body to investigate further.


The #33 on your chain would indicate a .325 pitch but measure it to be sure.
