Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): ignition, craftsman riding mower, screw driver

Question
i recently had to replace my ignition switch for my craftsman riding mower the modle number is 917.254243 it says i need to rewire the ignition terminal but i dont know hopw to get the wires out of the terminal can you help me?

Answer
 Hello John:

With the Plug End Removed from the Switch. Look at the Plug Straight On. Each Wire End is Flat on One Side and has 2 Curls on the Other Side. the Flat Side of the Terminal End has a Spring Loaded Flap. Take a Small Flat Pocket Screw Driver and Slid it Down the Flat Side of the Terminal End Between the Plastic Plug and the Termnal End. Sometimes you have to Push the Wire Up into the Plastic Plug Protector in Order for the Spring Flap to Release. When the Flap has Released, Pull the Wire and Terminal End From the Plastic Terinal Protector. Remove the Screw Driver and go to the Next Wire End. Hope this Hellps. Let me knowe what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
