Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Ryobi weedeater wont crank, weedeater, coil ignition

Question
There is no spark from the ignnition module.

How do I check the ignition moduse and gow do I replace if if ith is bad.

 Hello Frank:
 
 Remove the Spark Plug. Wrap a Wire Around the Threaded Area of the Plug and the Other End of the Wire is Attached to the Engine Block. Unplug the Shut Off Wire from the Coil. Is there Spark? If No, the Coil/Ignition Module May be Bad. Send me the Model Numbers and Serial Numbers so I can Look Up the Diagram  and I can Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.
