Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Riding mower engine wont turn over, 30 amp fuse, carborator

Question
It's model # 917271080 [mower]
The engine is # CV16S
Spec # 43519
Displ # 426
There is gas in the carborator. I've checked everything as good as I can without taking anything apart. I'm so afraid it's going to be electrical & that I know nothing about.
Thanks for any help you can give me. Betty

Question -
I was mowing & the mower quit & will not start again. It will turn over but not start. I have: put in a new spark plug, new in line gas filter, new air filter, good gas, oil is fine, battery is charged up. Now what? There is a 30 amp fuse somewhere that I have not checked but I can't seem to find it.
It's a Craftsman 16OHV with a Kohlor engine. 42" cut. Betty

Answer -
 Hello Betty:

I Require the Model Numbers Off the Mower and the Engine, Please. These will Allow me to Look up the Mower and Assist you Better.  Thanks.

Answer
 Hello Betty:

Remove the Spark Plug. Wrap a Wire Around the Plug Threads and Attach the Other End of the Wire to The Engine Block. Try to Start the Engine. Is the Plug Firing? If no, then it will be Best if a Repair shop Handled the Repairs. The Coil/Ignition Module May have went Bad. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
