Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 50, power path, crankshaft

Question
How do you install the belt that makes the blades move.  I have 3-20" blades, on the mower, we installed the belt and only one blade is engaging.

Hi Gretchen,

Sorry, I don't have detailed instructions.  You will need to trace the power path, starting from the crankshaft.  While noting the rotation of the crankshaft and the blades, follow each pulley.  The backside of the belt will probably go around the idler/tensioner pulley.  The belt will usually fit only one way, so after some trial and error, it should work out easily.
