Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 4.0 Eager 1 Mower Quits, squirt bottle, eager 1

Question
Hello. I have a Craftsman 4.0 Eager 1 Mower that quits running
after 5 Minutes. Once it quites after the initial 5 minutes it will run
for 30 seconds or so and quit. The gas is fresh, there is clean oil in
the mower, the air filter is new and the spark plug is clean and the
engine is not smoking.

Your thoughts please.

Run it until it quits, get a spark tester that plugs inline with the spark plug, crank it and observe the spark.  You have to determine if you have a fuel delivery problem or an ignition problem.

If you cant get a spark tester, get a squirt bottle, fill with gas, remove the breather, run it when it starts to quit squirt gas into the card- if it still quits you have an ignition problem.
