Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Trimmer 316.791880 Head Wont Spin, flex shaft, flexible shaft

Hi there!  From visual inspection, it appears that the "clutch drum assembly" (craftsman pn 791-153592) has stripped out where the end of the flexible shaft goes into it.  After removing the boom, I can turn the end of the flexible shaft and the trimmer head spims fine.  I have the boom off and the covers off to where I can access the clutch drum - now how do I remove the clutch drum assembly for replacement?

 Hello Lance:

 Have you Checked the Flex Shaft End that Goes Into the Clutch Drum. The Drum is Stronger than the Flex Shaft and Seldom Gives Problems of this Kind. If the Drum is Bad, then Remove the Anti Rotation Screw (pn 791-182519) and the Drum should Come out of the Housing. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.
