Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Troybilt tb475ss weedeater, nasty habit, weedeater

Question
That got the problem kind of fixed, thanks.  Now I can get it to start and run, however when I give it the full throttle it bogs down and dies.  If I give it a little throttle I can get the engine to rev, but that is about it.

Question -
I have a troybilt tb475ss weedeater that will not start unless the chock is used.  If I take the chock off it dies instantly.  I have removed the gas several times thinking that the gas was bad to no avail.  I have tried adjusting the idle speed screw as well.  I have also cleaned the air filter.  This problem seemed to happen overnight.  Any ideas?  Thanks,

Kevin

Hiya Kevin
Sounds like you're not getting enough fuel.  Look closely at the fuel line going into the tank- they have a nasty habit of collapsing.  Also theres a little filter stone or metal weight at the end of it- make sure it isn't clogged.
Lemme know what you find here- OK?

Answer
OK - we're onto it- we just haven't gotten the bug outr yet.  Still not getting enough fuel so--

Adjust the hi speed screw counter clockwise in 1/8 turns trying to run it after each adjustment.  I'm bettin it'll suddenly run alot better.  Give it a try an lemme know ok?

Oh- the hi speed screw is the one closest to the engine in the fuel circuit.  The other one is the idle screw and you'll find it very close to the choke flap.
