Auto Parts: Help, speed sensor, valve body

Question
I have a 98 ford explorer and it is sliping and i had it put on a computer and it said it was a speed sensor that went bad well i dont have much money and i dont know which peace to but Some one told me it would be the front one cause that would make it not change gear good it has been doing that for about 3 months now do u think u might know which speed censor it is?

Answer
Hi,
You will not be able to replace that speed sensor yourself. The transmission valve body needs to be removed to access the sensor. Sorry, but a reman, rebuild or replacement is in your vehicle's future unless you trade it in or scrap it.
Thanks for the question.
