Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mower wont stay on, john deere mower, model number

Question
I have a john deere mower that starts and runs about 10 mins then quits and after sitting 1-2 hours starts agian. Any ideas?  Thanks!

 Hello Stephen:

 Use the Mower Again. When it Quits, Check for Fire at the Plug. If No Fire at the Plug the Ignition Module/Coil is Bad. The Heat is Causing the Module to Ground out and it Wont Fire Until the Module/Coil has Cooled. Without the Make and Model Number of the Engine I cant tell you if it is a Seperate Module or Part of the Coil. If it has Fire at the Plug, then the Carb is Picking up Trash and Need to be Cleaned and Overhauled. Hope this Helps. Let me Know what Happens, Please.
