Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere L120 Wont Start, john deere l120, solenoid

Question
JD L120 B&S CV40 20hp OHV Twin running fine. Shut off engine for a few minutes.  Now will not crank.  Get only a single click when key turned.  Battery checked, shows 12plus volts, lights bright, didn't help when jump applied, and corrosion buildup has been removed. Jumped the solenoid to see if it is bad, but jumping did not spin the starter.  I think I have checked all the safety connections and found nothing loose.

Answer
 Hello Larry:

If you Jumpered the Soieniod and the Starter Didnt Turn the Engine; Replace the Starter. From what you Wrote thats all that could be Left if the Engine isnt Locked Up. Remove the Spark Plug and Check for Gas in the Cylinder Also. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
