I have a JD 318 lawn tractor and it had a onan engine that needs replacing. John Deere has told me that Onan does not make the engine to go in there any more and they want to replace it with a Honda 20hp. The price they qouted seeemed very high. I have a friend who said he would replace the engine for me, however how do we find the eguivalent Honda engine number? I have the model # and Serial # of my engine.  Thank you for any assistance

 Check the Price for a Briggs Engine. Also Contact this Company http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and get an Engine Price from them. There are Several Replacements for Your Old Engine. Hope this Helps.
