Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda GC 160, loose hope, compression engine

John I have a Honda GC 160 engine on my power washer, it is difficult to start and sometimes kicks back violently.  Is there a timing adjust on these motors?  Do you have any suggestions.  Thank you for your time.  Mike Harrigan

 Hello Mike:

 There is no Timing Adjustment for the Timing. It is Timed with the Flywheel Key. Also remember this is a High Compression Engine and it Will KICK back. Check and make sure the Coil isnt loose. Hope this Helps.
