Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Poulan Pro Link PPB100 Pull handle, clutch assembly, engine shaft

Question
Hi John.  I have a Poulan Pro Link PPB100.  The pull handle cord broke.  I tore the whole thing appart to try and get to it, but I'm stuck.  In order to get to it, I have to remove the clutch assembly to separate it from the engine shaft to remove the plastic housing to gain access to the pull cord base and I can't figure out how.  Please help.  Thanks!

Answer
 Hello Hafid:

Take a Strap Wrench and Hold the Clutch Bell. The Clutch Turns Clockwise to remove. A Hammer and a Punch can be used to Tap the Clutch Loose while Holding the Bell with the Strap Wrench. The Clutch Bell will now slide off and out of the Way. You can now finish the Rope/Handle Install.  Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
