Question
Thanks John that is what i thought. Is it a big deal to remove the deck? If not, I should do it and inspect the belts and pulleys. Thanks, Tom B.-----------------------

John,
Is it safe for me to turn my tractor on it's side to change the blades? If so, which side should it be turned over to.
 Thanks,
    Tom B.
Answer -
 Hello Tom:

The Mower should not be turned on its Side. I always Suggest Removing the Deck to Change the Blades. Tilting the Mower far enough to Change/Remove the Blades often causes Oil to flow into the Crankcase Vent.  Once this happens the Vent has to be Removed and Cleaned or the Crankcase cant Breath and Pressure Builds up inside the Block and Forces the Oil out through the seals or the Exhaust Valve Stem. With the Deck Removed you can Inspect and Lubricate the Linkeage and other Components that need Lubrication.  Also Inspect the Belts and Pulleys to insure they are in Good Condition.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John

Answer
 Hello Tom:
No Sir.  You should have no problem Locating the Connection Points that Release the Deck from the Mower. If you have The Owners Manual it will have the Directions also. If you do have Any Problems Or Questions while Performing this. Please let me know.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
