Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): kohler CH20S spec64510 V-twin 1992, gasket kit, head gasket

Question
Right cyl cuts out intermittantly under moving load  greater than 2mph on flat smooth or rough hilly terrain. If slow down or stop moving, cyls cuts in again. Left cyl nevers has a problem.
The right cyl cut out sounds like a misfire (only under moving load). Once load is reduced, recovers with sound  like slighly burned valve.

Removed inspected both cyl heads. Removed carbon. Reinstalled with new head gasket kit. All valves in good shape. No burn, pits or cracks The cyl that cuts out has rebuilt/oversize valvestem guide/sleeve. Could this be leaking (blowby) and causing lack of compression that causes cyl to misfire under load?

Would a new magneto fix/help this?
Engine starts & run fine - drives 52" wood mower
Has new fuel pump, cleaned carb
Perplexed

Answer
Hey Bill- the basics
1- Do a compression test, value isn't as important as them being the same (less than 10psi diff).  If not the same, a rebuild is in order (rings, valve job)
2- Next would be Ignition.  VERIFY plugs are correct type.  Measure plug lead resistance, again- look for same value (less than 10% difference).
Lemme know what you find!
