Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere Alternator, alternator overcharging, model numbers


Question
Battery wasn't charging, got a new battery, same problem. Replace the alternator, ignition switch. Inspected all wires, nothing exposed. The new alternator is now starting to burn up. John Deere LA150.
