I'm writing a report on small engines we disassempled and then reassembled again, and we need to know what we can do to fix the things that are wrong.  The main thing that is wrong is that we have no spark.  Do you have any suggestions on how this could be fixed.

Hi Bryant,

If the engine has ignition points, I would clean and re-gap or replace them.  They are located under the flywheel.  Let me know if you need info on it's removal.  If no points, the ignition coil is probably bad and in need of replacement.
