Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): timing honda engine, cam shaft, honda engine

have  honda engine apart. has belt from crank to cam how do you time it no marks seem to be anywhere

Answer
If you are looking for dots you're will not find any.  Honda uses various, general methods for timing marks.  If you can't find any marks then time it by hand.  Rotate the piston to TDC and follow all 4 cycles and check for valve overlap.  

Is there a line on the end of the cam shaft?
