Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn mower locked up, oil level, spark plug

I went to start my mower today and the primer button wasnt taking any oil.  I added some oil and tried the primer button again, but got nothing still. So I tried to start it and now the engine has locked itself up and I cant get the pull start rope to budge. Any suggestions?

Hi Samantha,

The primer button adds FUEL to the engine.  I would recheck the oil level to be sure it is not overfull.  If the level is correct and it still is locked up, remove the spark plug and try pulling over again.
