Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere JS63 Idles high and constantq, john deere js63, engine gasket

I have a JD JS63 and it is in a constant high idle. It also has a gas leak near the top of what appears to be the top of the tank..its not leaking underneath the tank.

Hi Rob,

Sorry for my delay.

Check the idle speed screw and the idle mixture screw.  Next, check the carb to engine gasket for leaks.  
The fuel leak will need to be traced to the source.  It may or may not be related.
