Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 5.5 hp push lawn mower leak, busy holiday, excess oil

my lawn mower recenty was turned on its side to celan the blade and leaked oil from the exhaust and airfilter.  Later when it was started it was smokey and has half the power it did before.  Any suggestions on how to stop leak and regain power?

Hi Steve,

Sorry for my delay.  It was a busy holiday here.

Oil has just gotten into places that it normally isn't.  The excess oil should burn off after a while.  Clean or replace the air filter.  You may need to replace the spark plug also.
