Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawnmower Wont start-What can I do next?, fuel flow, fuel line

Question
Hi Michael, thanks for the reply. I now have a spark, as I bought a new magneto for the mower. Still not running. I was milling it over and thought, hey, I didn't change the fuel filter in the carb, could that be it? Also, where are the safety switches located on the mower? I could check them as well. Anything else you can think of to check let me know. I cut my whole lawn the other day with my trimmer, my arms are killing me. Need to get the mower going soon.

Answer
Hi Rich,

I forget the first half of your question and my answer.
I guess you didn't have spark but now do.  That's good. If you have it at the spark plug you wont need to check the safety switches.  They are usually located under the seat and on the blade engagement lever.
If it won't start then you will need to check fuel flow.  It could be the filter.  Look for a good flow at the carb's fuel line inlet.

Let me know what you find.
Michael
