need to know how to tighten a drive belt on a murray riding lawn mower.5hp maybe 90-95

Hi Joe,

As far as I know, a spring loaded idler pulley applies the proper tightness to the belt.  If it is loose, then you might have a weak spring, a worn belt or a belt that is too long.  Make sure that the shaft in the center of the sliding adjustable pulley is greased and able to move freely.
