Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda Harmony HRM215 Engine Racing, correct hole, throttle plate

Question
I recently cleaned carb & reassembled, & now the engine races extremeley fast. Did I do something wrong? Do you have any diagrams for the linkages?
Thanks

Answer
Hi Howard,

Sorry, I don't have any diagrams.  I suspect that the governer spring may not be in the correct hole.  Or the idle screw is set too high.  Try adjusting it out, to close the throttle plate a bit.  The other screws, the large high speed mixture screw should be set at 1 & 1/2 turns out and the smaller low speed mixture screw set at 3/4 turn out.  Also check for an air leak at the carb to block gasket.

Let me know how you make out,
Michael
