Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mower wont start, starter fluid, float bowl

Question
Hello,
I have a Craftsman push lawnmower, B&S engine, 6.5 horsepower.  The eninge won't start unless I spray starter fluid into the carb.  Runs fine...while engine is hot it will start up again, but if it cools down it won't.  Is this something I can fix or is it too involved?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Chris

Answer
If you have a float style carb you can drain the fuel tank then remove the float bowl nut located on the bottom of the carb to drain the carb bowl; there may be some debris in the carb.

Do you have a float style carb with a primer bulb?
Let me know.
