how do i replace the rubber primer on B@S

If you have a tank/carb assembly you can remove the primer bulb with a flat blade screwdriver.  Use the screwdriver to push the two primer bulb retaining ears/tabs in and pry out the retaining ring.  Once the ring is off the bulb will come out.

To install a new bulb place the retaining ring on the bulb and then use a socket with the proper diameter to push the new bulb and retaining ring into place.

Of course Briggs sells some special tools to do this but we used to use the screwdriver/socket method before they made these tools.
