Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Starting problems with Yardman ride on, amp battery, battery connections

Our 13.5hp yardman ride on won't start all we hear is a click noice when the key is turned on.  It has a new battery and the starter motor is only 18 months old.

Did you slow charge the battery to full charge using about a 2 amp battery charger?

The most common cause of your problem is dirty battery connections.  Dis-connect the battery, clean the battery cable ends and the battery terminals with a wire brush.
