Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Manufacturer of engine, sears craftsman, tecumseh engines

Hi Eric,

I have a Craftsman 9" power edger.  It has a Craftsman "3.0 Reserve Power" engine on it.  Do you know who the manufacturer of the engine is?  I don't recall Sears/Craftsman ever producing engines.  (btw, it is about 15-20 yrs old)

It's difficult to say being that old.  Are there any numbers on the engine like 143.xxxxxx that identify the model?

Many Craftman products use Tecumseh engines.  Does you engine have a primer and a carburetor bowl on it?
