i have a 93 s10 blazer (green) and am painting it black..i have wet sanded entire truck using 600 grit ,do i need to prime old paint before repainting?

No you do not need to prime the truck if it is in good shape but any problem areas should be primed. Also be sure to scuff the little grooves and nooks and crannies with a scuff pad 3M makes a good one use the gray one.
