Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper Rear Engin Rider Ignition, engine ignition, engine throttle

Question
I have an older snapper comet rider, and the pull start works fine but the electric starter does not.  It has a new engin and starter on it, but the key start and the push button starter do not work.  Can you help me with how to rewire the unit.  I need to know which wires go where.
Thanks
Ben Stroud

Answer
All the key does is shut off/ground the engine ignition system.  Did you see or connect the key switch wire to the engine ignition terminal block located near the engine throttle control block?

Is your push button located on the right hand side of the mower kind of toward the rear and under the seat?

Let me know.
