Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Bad Boy Mower, diameter shaft, spindle assembly

I am trying to find a part that will interchange with the spindle assembly for our 2006 bad boy pup series 52" lawn mower.  Part # is 037-6015-00.

Did you try your local Bad Boy dealer?  I checked their website the other night and they have a dealer locater feature.

As for interchanging parts, we have never worked on Bad Boy mowers so I'm not sure what will swap.

I'd guess they use a very similar, if not the exact same, spindle assembley as Bunton or higher end commercial mowers.

Do you have an specifications on the spindle?  Length, diameter, shaft length and size, blade adapter, bolt pattern?  You can search Rotary, Oregon, or Silver Streak aftermarket parts catelogs to see if they sell an aftermarket assembly.  These companies often sell replacement parts for commercial mower and other popular selling mower parts.

If you just need bearings, dis-assemlbe the spindle, remove the bearings and go to you closest bearing supply warehouse or order online.

The parts diagram picture does not show enough detail for me to try and guess what might interchange.  Can you attach a picture of the spindle?
