Question
i had to stand my ariens rider on its end to change a drive wheel after that there was gas and oil coming out of the exhaust  i drained the  oil and it was full of gas  i changed the oil and spark plug  refilled the gaas and its started fine  the next week there was no gas in  the tank it had drained into the oil case again   is the engine SHOT any hope of repairing  any ideas will be most helpful thanks for your time

If fuel is draining into the engine, there is a problem with the inlet needle or float assembly in the carb.  This is the only path for uncontrolled, raw fuel to enter the engine.  Check the inlet needle for wear and replace as required.  Check the float for saturation.  If it's full of fuel or doesn't operate freely it will not shut the fuel off.  Let me know what you find.  Hope this helps.
