Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Small engines, briggs stratton, tiny tach

Question
I have just purchased a brand new Briggs & Stratton 20 hp Vanguard V2 engine.

Unfortunately there is no owner's manual nor operating manual in the packing box.
Can you please help me out with the following issues:

1.   There are yellow and red wires , (red - unconnected) at the side of the engine, what looks like a charging regulator unit. To where should this red wire be connected?

2.   Electric key-switch start and kill switch - How do I wire up the electric key-switch start and the kill-switch (to switch off) the engine?

3.   Tachometer - Can I install a tachometer for this engine and how do I connect the wiring?

Answer
Are the terminal on the charging regulator unit round or square/rectangle?

As for the key switch, how many pins does it have?  Most use a 5 pin connector.  M should be connected to the engine block terminal that goes to the coil.  This should ground the ignition when you turn off the key.  B is for the battery, or charging circuit. L is for lights. G is for ground.  S is for solenoid. Of course these letters are not correct for all switches but most of them.

As for the tach, you can use a Tiny Tach.
