Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): gas powered scooter 25cc, stock muffler, centrifugal clutch

Question
A couple questions if you will:

If you go to www.ebladez.com, click on power board then click products and then on the left sidebar pick Moby X, you will see all the specs and pictures for the scooter we just bought but haven't powered up yet.

First, is there a break in period for a 25cc?
Second, the stock muffler doesn't quiet much. Is there a way to quiet the exhaust more?
Third, this is chain driven with an inch wide belt going around the rear axle.
It doesn't seem to have a neutral to disengage the motor.  What happens if you need to just coast, w/o the motor?   Thanks, Ron

Answer
This unit shouldn't require any signficant break-in.  Let it warm up for a minute or so before you use it for good measure.
If there is anything available to quiet it down more, the manufacturer should be able to supply it.  Otherwise, there may be nothing that can be done.
According to the website, this unit has a centrifugal clutch.  This means that below a certain RPM, the motor is not engaged and the unit should coast.

Hope this helps.
