Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Johnny deere 65 with no spark???????, riding lawnmower, time hope

Hello I have a Johnny deere 65 a small riding lawnmower It was put in a building for a few years here in Indiana. It just seems to have no spark thanks Chip

Disconnect all of the leads that go to the shutoff terminal on the engine and re-check for spark. If you still have no spark, check that the armature gap is 0.010" from the flywheel. If this clearance is correct and still no spark, replace the ignition module. If you have spark after removing the shutoff wires, there is a problem with a safety switch. Eliminate them one by one by bypassing one at a time. Hope this helps.
