Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower, craftsman lawn mower, running around in circles

Question
I have a Craftsman lawn mower with a Briggs and Straton engine. It will start after I prime the engine and run a few seconds but then stop.

Answer
You have got what I like to call a shypoke mower.  A shypoke is is afraid of work.  All a shypoke does is eat, sleep and relieve itself.  Try whacking some sense into it and let your mower it is going to have to earn its keep or you will bury him.  He will snap right out of shypoke mode and start workin like the devil.  Don't let the lawn mower give you any excuses either.  Like I am tired daddy or it is toooo wet.  That is just the shypoke trying to hang on for dear life.  If you have to you may try feeding your lawn mower plenty of sugar.  He will start running around in circles and giggling at the moon.  Well you tell him to put some of that extra energy to good use and cut my dam (excuse my spanish) yard!!!!!
